1 Introduction
This release contains graphical improvements, as well as a few UI improvements to both web agent and configuration manager. FInally we have made big changes to our user profiles in order to improve the experience of Zylinc Cloud.
2 New features
This section provides information regarding newly developed features & functionality that is part of this release.
2.1 UI improvement for Web Agent
We have improved our graphical icons and layout in the web client, to give an improved experience when using it.
This new look applies to all workspaces.
2.1.1 Updating the activity field
Now more details can be seen in the activity field, the name of the queue and the caller’s name if available in the system.
All information has been grouped into columns for easier overview.
2.1.2 Improved settings menu
As part of the graphical overhaul, we have restructured our settings menu in the web client.
You can now find the following groupings:
- Profile
- Sound and headset
- Shortcut keys
- Notifications
In addition to better grouping, we've also added better help text to some messages that were previously too ambiguous.
2.2 Improvement of the User Interface for Configuration Manager
We have improved our configuration management by showing the dialed numbers for each queue and IVR.
2.2.1 Caller ID for Callback
We have included the ability to assign a Caller ID for each queue used for Callback as the Caller ID seen by the recipient of the Callback.
- This must be set under the desired queue, and subsequently on Caller ID
2.3 New user profile configuration
We have introduced a new way to configure and use our user profiles. Going forward, we no longer have "User Feature Profiles" and "End Feature Profiles", we instead have "User Profiles", which act as the controls for what the user can use.
All current "User Feature Profiles" will be converted when we upgrade you to 3.3, so they will continue to work with their current name and feature set under the new configuration method.
Since access to endpoints is now controlled by the "User profile" license, we have removed end feature profiles from the configuration.
Additional accesses, such as Call Supervisor, has been moved to "User privileges."
2.3.1 Assigned user profiles
With our new update, you can now see who is currently using a profile in Zylinc Cloud.
This is done under "Assigned User Profiles" in the configuration manager and allows you to log out users who inadvertently use a license.
The user is notified when the person is logged out and can log in again as normal. This should alleviate the issue of licenses being used by people who forget to log out, thus providing a better experience of Zylinc Cloud.
