Description
You can create a shortcut with access to your Elastics wallboards statistics portal so you can enter it with one click instead of having to open Configuration Manager every time. If you create a direct access, you only need to log in with user name and password once.
Microsoft Edge allows you to pin an icon in your taskbar. That is why we recommend you create the short cut and install it in Edge. This way your computer opens a new tab with your statistics wallboard without you having to do anything or logging into Elastics – no matter which browser you prefer.
If you only use Google Chrome, you can of course bookmark the tab by clicking on the star to the right in the tab and follow the guidelines.
Obtain link from your Zylinc partner
Nevertheless, you need to get in touch with your Zylinc partner. They provide you with the link/the url along with your username and password that you need in order to create the short cut to the Elastics statistics portal.
Create the short cut in your browser
When you have the link/url information from your partner, open a new internet tab, copy the link/url and log in with your username and password.
The very first time you log in, you are directed to the main page for your Elastics statistics.
Now go to the wallboard you wish to create quick access to.
Click ’View’ and go to ’Auto refresh settings.’
Set ’Set a custom interval’ under ’Refresh elements’ to 1s = 1 second. The your wallboard is updated every second.
Now press ’Enter fullscreen mode’ if you would like your wallboard to go into fullscreen mode.
Create app short cut in Edge
I Open Edge and click on the three dots in the top right hand corner.
Click on ’Apps.’
Select ’Install this site as an app.’
Name your app short cut and click install.
Mark ’Auto-start on device login’ and click ’Allow.’
